A new beginning

So it has actually started. I thought for a while it was all a joke, maybe a bad dream but no… I am indeed here, finally studying something I like and something that will put me in a situation in which I can have a job I enjoy in a somewhat near future.

And so far so good, I think I will struggle quite a bit with the Math subjects so that is 2 out of 5, but what can I do. I’ll put in the hours and I am sure I will reap the rewards.

I’m optimistic for once and I am trying to get the good habits going as soon as possible. Hopefully that’s soon, maybe within this week. Once I get that done I know I will fill more comfortable and to be honest I miss being in a situation in which I can dominate my education, feel good about my knowledge and go to the exams feeling good about my chances.

I used to have this and I feel it was more important for me and even for my personality than I ever cared to admit. But anyway, only time will tell and I know I have at least 4 years of time to prove myself that I am worth as much as the people that love me think I am worth.

I miss Ana but I know we are separated because we are prioritising a future together and in a way, it feels powerful that we have both accepted to be away from each other knowing it is what will increase our quality of life in the future. I love her and I wouldn’t be doing this without her support and encouragement.
